SCWCD ( Sun Certified Web Component Developer )
The
famous and tough "SCWCD certification" is aimed at Java programmers who
are/will be using the Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages APIs in order
to develop various java powered web applications.
In order to take up the
SCWCD Certification,one should have already cleared the most popular
"Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP)" Exam for the Java 2 Platform
certification,all others are not qualified to take up SCWCD Exam.
THE EXAM PATTERN
The exam consists of 60 questions. The questions may be of
multiple-choice, short answer, or/and true/false questions.
The multiple-choice questions would comprise of one or more correct
answers .The takers are informed as to how many correct answers are
there for a particular multiple-choice question.The short answer
questions would comprise of method declaration type of questions and
the true/false questions require the takers to choose between the two
choices namely True or False.

The SCWCD Exam
comprises of questions of all types ranging from basic servlet
programming to design patterns to custom tag libraries.
PASS CRITERIA
In order to pass the exam the candidate must obtain a score which is
greater than 61% that is 37 correct answers out of 60 questions.The
duration given to complete the exam is 90 minutes
